Emmaus Journey Young Adult Mission

“We are Catholic young adults growing together in our relationships with Jesus!”

Either we learn to find our Lord in ordinary, everyday life, or else we shall never find Him.

-St. Josemaria Escriva

About Us

We are a group of young adults striving to come together in community to grow in our faith and walk the road to Emmaus with one another.

During the semesters we meet twice a month as a small group study.

Our goal is to learn, study and ultimately live the Gospel to fulfill our missions as disciples of Christ.

Mission Statement

As individuals, we have answered "yes" to the universal mission of the Church - the mission to share Jesus Christ in love. As Catholics, we come together to provide tools that enable an ever-growing personal relationship with Him. We inspire discipleship through church community and service. This empowers evangelization (spreading the Gospel) wherever God calls us.

2020 Spring: FOCUS - This semester we will dive into 1 Corinthians from FOCUS. This study gives an inside look at the early Christians and in turn a reflection on our own lives. In the letter, St. Paul addresses a critical question: What does it mean to live in the world but not of it? Along the way, this study will address timely topics such as choosing a Vocation, the influence of the media, the Church’s teaching on contraception, the pursuit of holiness, developing the zeal to evangelize, and discerning our spiritual gifts. Check out the FOCUS App here.

Past Studies

2019 Fall: The Lamb's Supper - The Bible and the Mass- Scott Hahn unveils the mysteries of the Mass, offering readers a deeper appreciation of the most familiar of Catholic rituals. There is nothing that is so familiar as the Mass. Yet most Catholics sitting in the pews on Sundays fail to see the powerful supernatural drama that enfolds them. The Lamb's Supper reveals a long-lost secret of the Church: The early Christians' key to understanding the mysteries of the Mass was the New Testament Book of Revelation.

2019 Spring: Amazed and Afraid - This study by Evangelical Catholic is designed to help anyone dive into the Gospels and begin a regular pattern of prayer. Each of the six sessions features a scene about Jesus and his followers, followed by a series of questions, meant to help participants begin to reflect more deeply about their relationship with Jesus. 2018 Spring: “With Jesus to the Cross: A Lenten Guide on the Sunday Mass Readings” This was a 7-week study that focused on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus through reflection on the Sunday Lent and Easter Scriptures. Refer to this link for more details on Spring 2018 Studies.
